2001 – 2003 – Worked as a sous chef at the Corinthia Nevsky Palace Hotel. Restaurants: "Landskrona" - (2002 - awarded as the best restaurant in St. Petersburg in the nomination "Fine dining") and "Admiralty" (2002 - nominated as "Best restaurant of national cuisine" in St. Petersburg);
2002 - Gold medalist of the 2nd Culinary Championship "Golden Kulina". In an individual competition in St. Petersburg;
2002 - Silver medalist at the Individual Cook Competition of the 3rd Russian Culinary and Service Championship Moscow city;
2003 - Participated in the International Culinary Championship competition "Food & Fun" Reykjavik;
2003 - Participation in the opening of the hotel "Baltic Star" (Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation) - Executive sous-chef position. Restaurants "Northern Venice" and "Russian Versalia";
2004 - accepted into the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Chef Rotisseur;
2003 - 2008 – Executive Chef at Renaissance Baltic Hotel (Marriott Hotel Chain), restaurant “Canvas”. The first Russian chef to lead production in a global hotel chain of this class;
2007 - Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs awarded the title Maitre Rotisseur;
2008 - was noted by the magazine 'Where' in the yearly nomination for 'Innovation and Success';
2008 - 2009 – Director of Restaurant Services at Renaissance Baltic Hotel;
2009 - Joined FCSI (Foodservice Consultants Society International), an international association of kitchen designers and consultants—the only Russian specialist accredited by FCSI.
Ruslan Burmistrov is the only accredited FCSI member in Russia.
